  1. Are you sleep?

    Please provide option for app to start asking us if we are asleep after a certain time. Like if we tend to sleep at 9pm ask us if we are sleep. If we dont respond/snooze then turn sleep tracking on. I forget to to turn the track on frequently. This will help tremendously. Thanks.

    • Fall asleep detection

      I miss a feature where the app detects when you fall asleep. For myself it takes a long time to fall asleep (between 1-2 h) and I'd really like the app to tell me how long I slept and not only how long I was tracking my sleep.

        Hello, there is an experimental awake detection (30% experiment in the latest release) which is a sort of fall asleep detection if you use your wearable, you can get that if you opt-in for BETA..

        And of course you can fully edit your graphs ex post – by selection a portion of the graph and hit delete..

      • Use both sonar and accelerometer for sleep detection

        There is currently only the option to use one or the other. I'd love to be able to enable both at the same time to make readings even more accurate!

        • Keep tracking and vibrate if the user falls asleep again after turning off the alarm

          I keep falling asleep again right after turning off the alarm with no memory of how it happened a few hours later! I would like it of you could keep tracking for 30 more minutes and making sure I won't fall asleep again. If I stayed emotionless my watch could just vibrate.

            Many thanks.. I would highly recommend taking more control of your sleep schedule. For that we offer the CAPTCHA feature which helps even the greatest sleepyheads to wake up by scanning a QR code or NFC tag in your kitchen let say..

          • Option where the alarm will only go off after you've had a designated amount of sleep.

            I'd like an option where i can say i want 7.5 hours sleep, and with the sleep tracker it will take me up after i reach 7.5 hours minimum, or once i reach light period after that time

            • Begin tracking only after no motion is felt for a set time.

              I fall asleep at different lengths of time. Sometimes 20 minutes sometimes 3+ hours. If there was an option to only start tracking after no movement is felt for a specified time then the information would be more accurate. This option should let the user pick the amount of time delay between movements before tracking starts.

              • Reduce sleep deficit over time

                Sleep deficit shouldn't be calculated as simple difference between "ideal time" and "actual time". It should exponentially reduce over time, so most recents nights make more effect on current sleep deficit.

                For example, let's imagine that my ideal sleep period is 8 hours. But I had a hard week, so on weekdays I slept 6 hours. On Tuesday I had 2 hours deficit calculated, on Wednesday 4 hours and so on... To fullfill that deficit for me it would be enough to sleep ~10 hours (2 hours extra on each day) on weekends.                   A good app makes our lives better. been using the app since day 1 and i would like to suggest modules that would train us to wake up earlier. it doesnt happen overnight, it could be a week or month that is automaticaly waking me up 5 mins earlier everyday. just like a sleep coach

                    If the app finds WiFi in enabled status and turns it off when tracking starts, then it also should turn WiFi back on after tracking ends. This is especially true since Turn off wireless signal during sleep is set to Automatic by default. I wasted several gigabytes of cellular data before I finally figured out why my WiFi kept turning itself off when I wasn't looking.

                      As I know to avoid sleeping problems, it is important not to eat too late.
                      Your application inform when I should go to bed, but I think that it is equally important to inform when I should eat my last meal or that it's time to not eat at all.

                        It is well known that temperature influences sleep, so it would be good if the app has an option to saves this so you can notice how it influences and what you can change to improve your sleep

                          • Option to difference between AM and PM in logs.

                            Either using 24 hour time, or just affixed AM/PMs at the end of each time. Even a color code would do it. I just can't tell sometimes "did I sleep from 10pm to 2am, or 10am to 2pm?" I have a circadian rhythm disorder, so I can't count on my sleep making sense.

                              Import sleep data from Google Fit. Not only the last night but far more history. Sleep as Android is already importing and exporting the heartrate data from Google Fit and also uses the movement data to detect if you are awake.
                              It would be real nice if Google Fit can be used as backup of the data instead of the external backup function of Sleep as Android.

                                      I use this minimally to monitor snoring, but my main focus is for sleep talk recording. I love listening to the random weird things I say at night as a very active sleep talker. I would love to be able to automatically separate snoring recordings into their own folder or section based on your algorithmic process for it so it would allow me to more easily find my sleep talking.

                                          ... I would love to have the option to sort in "Stats"/"Tags List" by:
                                          + "Deep Sleep"
                                          + "Deep Sleep Percentage"
                                          + Duration
                                          + Snoring

                                          The existing stats-listing could stay the same - just adding the sort-option would help a lot finding the factors for a better sleep.

                                          So you could easily create and see a list of all beneficial factors (tags) of your sleep.
